Mirabilandia: A Themed and Water Amusement Park
Opened in 1992, Mirabilandia is the premier amusement park on the Romagna Riviera.
Rich in greenery, it is divided into seven areas and spans a massive 850,000 square meters, including the water park area of Mirabeach.
Record-breaking Attractions
Mirabilandia boasts several internationally renowned attractions. iSpeed, a magnetic launch rollercoaster unveiled in 2009 with the late motorcycle champion Marco Simoncelli, is the tallest and fastest launch coaster in Italy, reaching a top speed of 120 km/h, offering thrills akin to a Formula 1 experience.
Another standout is Katun, Europe’s longest inverted coaster since 1999, which keeps even the bravest guests on edge for 2 minutes and 22 seconds. Additionally, the Divertical water coaster, opened in 2012, holds the record as the world’s tallest at 60 meters, featuring a dramatic plunge into the water below, making it the highest rollercoaster in Italy.
Even the classic Ferris wheel at Mirabilandia has a unique touch: Eurowheel reaches 90 meters, ranking as the second tallest Ferris wheel in Europe.
Moreover, don’t miss out on the largest haunted house in Europe, Legends of Dead Town.
Mirabilandia was the first amusement park to feature an area entirely dedicated to a motorcycle brand. Since 2019, the park has included Ducati World, a 35,000 square meter space with attractions for motorbike and racing enthusiasts of all ages.
For Children
The romantic Carousel, the Casa Matta for little aerial adventures, the spinning ducks, and the Leprotto Express coaster are just a few of the rides in the Bimbopoli area for the youngest visitors.
Other attractions include the Santa Fé Express, a colorful park train; the Mini Rapids, navigated in log boats; the Monosaurus, an egg-car tour exploring dinosaurs; Flying Arturo, spinning cabins around the park’s mascot kangaroo Arturo; and Fantasyland, with winding paths to explore.
For the Whole Family
There are numerous family-friendly attractions: in the Adventure Land area, you’ll find Master Thai, a lively dual-track roller coaster, and Rio Bravo, a wet adventure on rafts navigating river rapids.
In the American dream-themed area Route 66, enjoy Autosplash, a water ride with a 15-meter drop in Cadillac-shaped canoes; Blu River, an exciting descent in two-person rafts; Raratonga, a boat ride with water cannons to hit targets among Moai statues; and Aquaqua, where you can run among fountains and water games. Not to forget, the already mentioned Divertical.
The Far West Valley offers intense thrills with El Dorado Falls, a steep drop ride, and the Oil Towers, twin towers that launch the bravest into the sky at 80 km/h or offer a 60-meter free fall. More relaxed attractions include Aquila Tonante, a skate flyer experience; Gold Digger, a fun and speedy mine roller coaster; and Buffalo Bill Rodeo, an innovative rotating disco coaster.
For a bit of relaxation, there’s Eurowheel and the Mira Express, a monorail tour of the park. For an interactive laser gun competition, visit Reset, set among the apocalyptic ruins of New York.
Don’t miss Dinoland, a themed area for children and families dedicated to the world of dinosaurs, featuring flying jurassic bikes, mysterious plants, and off-road tracks among prehistoric animals.

Throughout the park, you’ll find cool mist dispensers providing a refreshing experience. Many services are available for visitors, from numerous food outlets with bars and restaurants to paid leisure areas with arcades and remote-controlled models for children.
The park also offers convenient picnic areas and provides companies with the option to use meeting rooms for their events.
